The so called "DOOR TO HELL" is situated near a small town of darwaz,so also called"DARWAZA GAS CRATER".Sources set the beginning of the story at about 36 years ago.In the darkness of the night ,these high flames seems to touch the sky and can be seen from a far distant places.Actually the placeDARWAZ is situated in the deserts of the TURKMENISTAN.
It is believed that it was started in the 1970,s accidentally by the geologists,but some sources put the initialization of it in the back 1950,s.It can be considered as the worlds most incredible natural wonder.
Once the geologists were digging a pit in search of natural gas.During drilling ,they found a underground cavern full of poisonous gases ,which starts swallowing the equipments .The poisonous gas continued to come out of the hole.None of the geologist dare to go down there in the cavern.Hoping to burn off the excess gas,geologists ignite the gas,since then it is burning,for about 35(36) years till now without any break.
Accidentally they initiated a huge natural wonder ,which according to the storytellers is named "DOOR TO HELL" .No official explanation has ever been realeased about this story.
Nobody knows how many tons of natural gas has been wasted till now.It is believed that this natural wonder will continue for about 200 years.
